An African Slave Melissa Robinson University of Phoenix My name is Winny and I am a young African slave. The year is 1846 I am not authoritative of the day, my family and I ar onboard what I am told is a slave ship and we sailed off the coast of Africa. There ar scared faces all around me. Men, women, and children are all crammed to unsexher in tight spaces. I begin not eaten or drank in days and there is a putrid smell hanging heavy in the air. Could it be destruction I wonder? Spring 1847: Summer 1847: Fall 1847: overwinter 1847: We have journeyed much than 250 miles through the Appalachian Mountains and arrived in Rochester, impudent York. A cleaning lady named Susan B. Anthony and her antislavery friends give us warm wearing for the cold Canadian weather and tell us they give make sure we make it to Lake Erie safely.
